JAW HITS

JAWS SC was founded on 29th March 2009. Team manager Ayyub Kay has always wanted to form a local social team and with help from his brother, Kay Jianming and cousins Faiz Matnawi and Imran Ahmad Rasi, JAWS SC managed to form a young and exciting team. Long-time partner and girlfriend of Ayyub, Nureen also played a major role by handling the team funds and match pictures. Abdul Jabar, also joined the management team by sponsoring the weekly Jaws-Of-the-Week vouchers and assists Ayyub on team tactics.

Back in 2007, JAWS SC was formerly known as JAW SC. A team of close friends namely Jabar, Ayyub and Wandy got some players together to play 2 friendly games. Although both games resulted in wins, Jabar injured his knee badly in the 1st game against Newcastle Fan Club and Wandy failed to find commitment from his cousins. Hence, plans of forming a social soccer team were put on hold for almost 2 years. 

Early in 2009, Ayyub decided to reformed JAW and renamed it as JAWS SC. With strong contacts with more soccer friends after playing with Cairnhill FC and a few other teams, we managed to attract many new players and gathered a squad of 29 players. Only players like Faiz, Ming, Rusdi, Iskandar, Wandy, Jabar and Ayyub retained their status from JAW SC. Ayyub, Faiz and Ming help to maintain the initial team website in Wordpress and Facebook. Nureen not only helped to track the team funds and taking great pictures during all matches, she also managed to recruit her cousin, Hissham to join JAWS SC. She also ensured that every match, JAWS has at least 6 bottles of drinks. Jabar came into the management team by assisting Ayyub with team selections and tactics. On top of that, Jabar has decided to sponsor the team with weekly vouchers for the best nominated player of JAWS. In order to manage the team better on the field, Ismadi and Nasarudin were also given coaching roles of overseeing the developement of JAW's playing style.

In order to serve all members of JAWS SC better, Im took the task to make an official website for JAWS SC. With support from Ming, they took great pain and effort to create this very website for JAWS SC. The main aim of having a more dynamic website is to encourage more interaction and also to attract potential sponsors for JAWS SC.
